Job Description

The primary function is to deliver high quality patient care while producing diagnostic radiographs and performing and/or assisting physicians in interventional and invasive procedures. This role requires maintaining records, films, and paperwork, as well as preparing, maintaining, and operating radiologic and special procedure equipment in a safe and responsible manner, following appropriate radiation safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality patient care.
• Produce diagnostic radiographs.
• Assist physicians in interventional/invasive procedures.
• Maintain records, films, and necessary paperwork.
• Prepare, maintain, and operate radiologic and special procedure equipment safely.
• Follow appropriate radiation safety guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program Required.
• General experience in special studies and angiography Required.
• Registered Technologist (R) Required.
• Basic Life Support certification Required.
