Job Description

The Emergency Room RN will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The role requires exceptional nursing skills and the ability to react quickly in critical situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency room setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective patient management.
• Perform necessary nursing procedures and interventions.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department experience required.
• BSN required.
• Travel experience required (at least one completed contract assignment).
• High volume/fast pace experience preferred.
• NJ License/Compact required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required (pending certifications or those expiring within 30 days of submission are not accepted).
