Registered Nurse - Surgical Services

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3-12 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, including one night of call per week and one weekend shift from 7 AM to 7 PM on Saturday and Sunday per month.

Job Description

The surgical services department provides a full spectrum of procedures across various specialties, focusing on both elective and critical surgeries. The Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care and outcomes through their expertise and dedication.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the surgical setting.
• Assist in various surgical procedures including ortho, neuro, general, robotic, urology, GYN, and vascular surgeries.
• Maintain a high standard of care following established protocols and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience in surgical nursing required.
• Experience in ortho, neuro, general, robotic, urology, GYN, and vascular surgery required.
• Michigan RN license verification required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
