Shift is flexible; several holes are available, and preferences can be accommodated. On-call, holiday, and some weekend rotations may be required.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist performs a variety of MRI and MRA procedures, ensuring patient safety protocols are followed. They assist Radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsibilities include operating MRI scanners, RF coils, MRI workstations, laser cameras, film processors, patient monitoring equipment, and MR injectors. The Technologist will facilitate patient understanding of procedures, screen for biomedical and metallic implants, gather relevant medical history, and help patients change into dressing gowns. They will ensure proper protocols are followed for various studies conducted in the section, acting as a professional first line interface with patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold ARRT registration in MRI
• CPR certification required
