Registered Nurse - Acute Care

12-hour day/night rotation, including weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in an acute care setting. The unit comprises 30 beds and operates with a nurse-patient ratio of 1:6/7. The RN will be expected to manage a variety of patient diagnoses including CHF, COPD, cellulitis, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute care setting.
• Collaborate with a charge nurse and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Titrate heparin drips according to APTT results.
• Assist in the care of patients requiring intermittent BIPAP.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• NIHSS certification required.
• No trauma level certification necessary.
• Must disclose licensing hits at the time of submission.
