Job Description

The Telemetry/Med Surge Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care in the Telemetry/Med Surge unit, primarily focusing on cardiac patients. The nurse will monitor patient vitals and administer non-titrating cardiac drips while collaborating with a team of medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vitals and telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and non-titrating cardiac drips as ordered.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Texas nursing license.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
