D/E/N rotating shift schedules, including weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge per unit needs.

Job Description

Join a 30-bed unit specializing in the care of adult hematology-oncology patients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with patients throughout all phases of their care, including initial diagnosis, treatment, and end-of-life care. You will have the chance to develop and enhance your knowledge and skills in general medical and surgical nursing, while becoming an expert in oncology care.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to adult hematology-oncology patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments as required.
• Deliver compassionate end-of-life care to patients and support to families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in New York.
• Two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience required.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS Certification.
• Chemotherapy Certification required.
