12-hour shifts, days; minimum of every other weekend required. Schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Long Term Care setting. The LPN will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients, including those with dementia. The role involves floating to other units as needed based on patient care requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care for residents.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Participate in patient care planning and evaluation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience is required.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Candidates must hold a current BLS certification through AHA.
• Willingness to float to other units as necessary.
