Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

This high-acuity ICU unit includes care for patients on ECMO, heart transplant recipients, and CABG post-operative patients. The Registered Nurse will utilize advanced skills in hemodynamic monitoring and provide exceptional care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in an ICU setting.
• Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and manage ventilated patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to formulate and evaluate patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using Meditech.
• Participate in bedside shift reports and keep patient information up-to-date on whiteboards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (note: Temp license will not be accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with ventilated patients and post-CABG care preferred.
• Meditech experience is advantageous.
