Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our Radiation Oncology team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Varian linear accelerators and the ARIA Record and Verify system. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiation therapy, ensuring patient safety, and utilizing advanced imaging and treatment technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy as prescribed, including modalities such as IMRT, VMAT, SBRT/SRT, and SRS.
• Perform chart checks and ensure adherence to treatment protocols.
• Utilize imaging technologies including CBCT and kV/mV imaging for treatment verification.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and isolation precautions.
• Operate and manage custom molds and shields for patient treatment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree or certificate in Radiation Therapy or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a radiation therapy role.
• ARRT (T) certification required; BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and GE CT Simulator is essential.
• Familiarity with Aria Record and Verify, RPM, and AlignRT is preferred.
