Registered Nurse - Cardiac Medical Unit Night Shift

Job Description

Join our Med-Surg Cardiac Medical Unit, a 23-bed facility with a 1 treatment room, providing care to a diverse range of cardiac patients. Work within a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in a setting that prioritizes patient-centered care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac patients, including those recovering from procedures such as cardiac catheters, ablations, and cardioversions.
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and assess patients' hemodynamic status.
• Administer cardiac drips and manage medication loads per protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize EMR for accurate documentation and medication scanning.
• Assist in the transfer and care of ICU patients and those with neuro and pulmonary conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of New Hampshire.
• ACLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac telemetry and medical-surgical nursing practices.
• Experience with cardiac drips and procedural care.
