This is a Night Rotational position, with a schedule of 36 hours per week (7 on/7 off) from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

Job Description

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT is responsible for ensuring that radiology procedures, equipment, and staff evaluations are accurate, timely, responsive, and reliable. This role prioritizes activities that directly affect customer service, serving employees, medical staff, patients, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Comply with all hospital policies and procedures pertaining to incident reporting.
• Perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians.
• Ensure adequate radiation safety practices for both patients and coworkers.
• Participate in all Radiology Management System functions related to patient procedures.
• Provide patient education as required.
• Maintain effective communication with referring physicians and radiologist staff.
• Adhere to clinical principles, methods, and procedures while performing CT procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology.
• NYS Radiology Technologist license (NYS Department of Health).
• ARRT (Radiography) certification.
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross).
