Schedule

36 or 48 hours/week, rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights. Floating, weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback required.

Job Description

Join a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) in a state-of-the-art facility that manages over 100,000 visits annually and is recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. As a Level I trauma hospital, we are responsible for a diverse patient population and will assist with border patients.

Please note that the ER cannot accommodate first-time travelers. Also, no requests for time off will be accepted from February 15 to February 21.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Utilize telemetry and critical care protocols effectively.
• Assist in the management of a diverse array of patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License in New York (NY License ONLY)
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification preferred
