7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 3 days a week with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical Nurse to provide care for patients in the Med/Surg unit. The position involves attending to post-operative patients, especially those recovering from orthopedic surgeries. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and assisting with various medical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient health and vital signs.
• Assist with blood transfusions and IV maintenance.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Basic Med/Surg experience.
• Experience with post-op patients, particularly in orthopedics.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred but not required.
