Job Description

The Travel RN Med/Surg will provide nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical setting, ensuring a high standard of care while supporting the team during the night shift. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing appropriate interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and care delivered in medical records.
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
