Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract position. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment within the Cath Lab and Special Procedures unit, providing highly specialized patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, technicians, and other healthcare staff.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as needed.
• Take part in typical procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, cerebral angiograms, stent placements, and balloon procedures.
• Act as a critical thinker and adapt to the dynamic needs of the unit.
• Engage in daily huddles and foster relationships with the director, staff, and patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ARRT certification and competency in Special Procedures & GE Innova preferred.
• Experience as a travel RN is favored.
