Behavioral Health Nurse - Acute Inpatient Psych Facility

Schedule

Days - 8HR: 6 AM - 2:30 PM, with every other weekend; possibility for 10-hour days available.

Job Description

Join a beautiful brand new acute inpatient psychiatric facility that provides care for adults, geriatric patients, and adolescents. This facility treats a variety of mental health and behavioral disorders, including substance abuse and addictions. Candidates must be experienced in the use of restraints, as this is a critical part of the role. An ASAP start is preferred, and orientation includes de-escalation training provided at no charge.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with mental health and behavioral disorders.
• Utilize restraints in a professional and safe manner when necessary.
• Document patient care using Epic and maintain paper charting for restraint incidents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Pennsylvania nursing license at the time of submission.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a behavioral health or psychiatric facility.
