7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including 3 shifts per week and 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Post-Operative unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families. The nurse will be responsible for utilizing patient-centered approaches to care while fostering personal connections with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to post-operative patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist with basic wound care, maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Start IVs and monitor patient vitals
• Participate in bedside shift reports with team and family members

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License
• BLS Certification
• Med/Surg experience preferred
• Ability to prioritize care and multitask effectively
