Job Description

The 12 Tower Unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients. The unit specializes in a diverse patient population with various medical needs including post-operative care and complex conditions. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is eager to contribute to patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient assessments and deliver general care.
• Care management of wounds, tracheostomy, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, strokes, and seizures.
• Monitor patients requiring dialysis or PCA pumps.
• Assist with post-operative procedures, including amputations, ostomy care, and wound vac management.
• Conduct safety checks and bedside shift reporting.
• Implement fall prevention and HAIs prevention measures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess current BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with patient care in a hospital environment is preferred.
