Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech is responsible for assisting with a range of procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory environment, working closely with physicians and other healthcare personnel to provide optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures.
• Maintain and operate Cath Lab equipment and supplies effectively.
• Document patient care information accurately using Meditech and MacLab systems.
• Participate in on-call duties as assigned.
• Communicate with the Program Manager regarding any declined or rejected matches.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Cardiovascular Lab Tech certification (CVL Tech) required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Previous experience in cardiac cath lab is required; electrophysiology experience is preferred.
• Additional certifications such as CVT, RCIS, and/or RT are preferred.
