Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric ICU Nurse for a critical care unit specializing in providing advanced care for pediatric patients requiring ICU and step-down interventions. The unit focuses on continuity of care for patients, including those with congenital heart diseases and post-operative management.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Manage and monitor patients with arterial lines, central lines, and other complex devices.
• Involve in procedures such as central line and arterial line placement, intubation/extubation, and recovery from cardiac procedures.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care.
• Participate in codes and emergency procedures as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience as a staff nurse.
• A minimum of 2 years of PICU experience as a staff nurse.
• Experience with caring for patients with congenital heart disease and post-operative management.
• Required Certifications: PALS, BLS.
