Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

Join our team on the 6th floor, where you will provide exceptional care to patients in a 33-bed unit. With a patient ratio of 6:1 during the day and 7:1 at night, your skills will be vital in ensuring a high standard of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in alignment with established protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess and implement appropriate care plans.
• Utilize equipment including IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs for patient management.
• Document patient care and progress using the Meditech documentation system.
• Participate in unit staffing and support rotating float assignments as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Previous nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Advanced certifications may be required based on unit policies.
