Nursing Position - Med Surg - Night Shift

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekend shifts required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified nurse for our Med Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have telemetry and Med Surg experience, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care, monitoring telemetry, and assisting with medical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various medical conditions on the 4th and 5th floors.
• Monitor patient telemetry and vital signs.
• Perform procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, and assist with diagnostic operations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information and care in the EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Telemetry experience.
• Med Surg experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification.
