This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are nights, 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates can work 36 or 48 hours per week and are required to complete 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. At least one holiday must be worked during the contract.

Job Description

This position is within the West 6 Med/Tele unit, which has 37 beds. The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a med-surg/telemetry setting. Flexibility is necessary, as the role may require floating to other units and taking charge when needed. Training is available for those who may require it.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute med-surg/telemetry.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• NIH Stroke Certification.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
