Respiratory Therapist - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 4x12hr Nights (Wednesday - Saturday); 48hrs/week

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience working in acute care settings, handling emergency department cases, inpatient care, and patient transport to tertiary care centers. Candidates must possess a high degree of proficiency in ventilator management and experience with BiPAP and CPAP technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in urgent and acute care settings.
• Administer therapies using various modalities and devices, including ventilators.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust as necessary.
• Transport patients safely within the facility when needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of current acute care experience (required).
• Previous travel experience (highly preferred).
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification (required).
• Active NBRC or CRT (required).
• New Hampshire RCP licensure required (temporary accepted, must apply for temp NH RCP at time of offer).
• Hospital experience with HHN, BiPAP, and CPAP (required).
• Supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment (required).
