Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with Operating Room (OR) experience to join our surgical team. The qualified candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to surgical patients. You will work alongside a collaborative team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Act as a circulating nurse in various surgical procedures.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.
• Fulfill rotating on-call requirements including night and weekend schedules.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience as an OR circulator is a must.
• Ability to scrub for open-heart procedures.
• Preferred experience in orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, and other specialties.
• Must be able to fulfill rotating call requirements (one night per week minimum, one weekend per 5-week schedule minimum).
