Job Description

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician with a strong background in imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in operating X-Ray equipment and adhering to safety protocols while providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-Ray equipment.
• Prepare and position patients for X-Ray procedures.
• Ensure proper maintenance of imaging equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for patient care.
• Manage patient records and documentation efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 5 years of current X-Ray experience.
• Active New York State license as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT (R)).
• EPIC EMR experience is required.
• Strong preference for experience in Level 1 trauma hospitals.
• Travel experience is a plus.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
