Schedule

Shift: 06:30 - 17:00. Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The Cath Lab RN will provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing cath lab procedures. This dynamic and busy unit performs various advanced cardiac procedures and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The RN will work alongside an experienced staff in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the cath lab, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses, adhering to established protocols.
• Assist with cath lab procedures including heart caths, TAVR, Mitra Clip, and pacemaker implants.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Cerner and Merge hemodynamic systems.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Florida.
• Previous Cath Lab experience is essential.
• Able to take call as required.
• Experience with structural heart procedures is preferred.
