Surgical Technologist - Level II Trauma Center

10-hour shifts, varied shifts, varied days off, possibly weekends, no call.

Job Description

Join a dynamic team at a Level II trauma center as a Surgical Technologist. While the primary assignment is in the inpatient main OR, there may be opportunities to float to the outpatient Same Day Surgery center as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in surgical procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Preparing and maintaining the sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
• Managing surgical instruments and supplies effectively.
• Adhering to safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• One (1) year of recent hospital experience in the capacity of a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Operation Room Technician course.
• Current CPR certification.
