Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for geriatric patients in a behavioral health setting. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient assessments, medication management, and documentation while ensuring a safe and supportive milieu for patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate nursing diagnoses.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Implement treatment plans while adhering to unit protocols and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
• Engage in milieu management to provide a therapeutic environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 12 months of permanent behavioral health experience in a short-term acute care hospital.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
• Valid Permanent Ohio or Compact RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty required.
