Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, varying from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a critical care setting. The role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to function effectively in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and ongoing care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Preferred certifications: CCRN and NIHSS.
• Experience with Cerner EMR in a Medical Surgical ICU setting.

Holiday Expectations

MUST work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
