Certified OR Tech - OB Experience Required

Job Description

We are seeking a Certified OR Technician with recent OB experience in a busy, large teaching hospital to assist RNs with various tasks throughout the unit. This position requires the ability to scrub C-sections and related gynecological procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs with setting up, breaking down, and performing unit duties.
• Scrub in on C-sections and other related gynecological procedures as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.

Schedule

This position operates on an 8-hour rotating schedule, with no block scheduling available. Orientation is bi-weekly on Mondays, and candidates must be available for immediate start.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• AHA BLS certification and certification through NBSTSA are required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent OB experience in a hospital with 500+ beds.
• Must possess a valid Vermont state license at the time of submission.
