Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts available in 4x10 or 5x8 format, with some weekends required (approximately 1-2 weekend shifts per month).

Job Description

The Pediatric Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist will provide specialized therapy services to the pediatric population in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role requires experience in pediatric therapy and the ability to work within a team to create individualized therapy plans and conduct assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for pediatric patients.
• Create and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Provide therapy interventions for children with various conditions.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and exercises.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric physical therapy.
• BLS certification required.
• Current Alaska Physical Therapist License (pending licenses accepted if issued with start date).
• Experience with inpatient care and pediatric-specific conditions is necessary.
