Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on patient care in the LDRP unit, ensuring the well-being of both the mothers and newborns during the birthing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in labor and delivery, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
• Monitor fetal heart rates, assess labor progression, and assist with pain management and delivery.
• Coordinate care with healthcare team members and ensure a smooth transition for patients through the birthing process.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using electronic health records (EHR) system.
• Educate patients and families on post-delivery care and infant care practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification is required.
• Associates degree in Nursing or higher.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
