Certified Surgical Tech (CST) - Day Shift

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in various surgical procedures and must be capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to:
• Tonsillectomy/Adenoidectomy
• Appendectomy
• Cholecystectomy
• Colon resection (Open/LAP)
• Hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical)
• Thyroidectomy (partial/total)
• Abdominal hysterectomy
• Anterior/Posterior repair (Colporrhaphy)
• Bilateral tubal ligation
• Dilation & Curettage
• Vaginal hysterectomy
• Arthroscopy
• Closed/Open reduction of fractures
• Total hip replacement
• Total knee replacement
• Gynecologic robotic surgery
• Cystoscopy
• Nephrectomy
• Prostatectomy
• Transurethral resection of the prostate
• Maintain aseptic technique and follow infection control protocols.
• Assist with surgical preparations, draping, and instrumentation.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• CST or NBSTSA certification required.
