Job Description

The Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for assisting in a fast-paced environment, performing imaging procedures, and ensuring patient care throughout the process. The role requires a strong understanding of cath lab operations and will involve collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all cardiac adult procedures, including peripheral, cardiac catheterization, PCI, and device placements.
• Work collaboratively within a 3-man team consisting of 2 RNs and 1 technologist.
• Perform patient monitoring and support during procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as scheduled.
• Handle equipment including IVUS, IABP, and assist with the operation of the Acist injector.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab.
• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) preferred. RCIS will not be accepted due to state requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions must be documented.
