Evening Operating Room Nurse

Schedule

This position offers an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with weekend and holiday call rotation as needed.

Job Description

The Evening Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced, multi-specialty surgical environment. This role involves scrubbing and circulating for surgical cases, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with surgical teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients during surgical procedures.
• Assist with scrubbing and circulating duties in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage and oversee the surgical environment and equipment.
• Participate in call rotation as per the schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 2-3 years of experience in the operating room.
• Experience with orthopedic cases and robotics (Da Vinci) is required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS (PALS preferred).
• Must have EPIC experience.
