Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30 with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for the night shift. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in emergency situations.
• Administer medications and provide treatment following established protocols.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition continuously.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Stabilize patients with respiratory, cardiac, and psychiatric emergencies.
• Utilize advanced emergency equipment and protocols efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience is required.
• Current RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• CPI certification preferred for managing psychiatric patients.
