PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour Shift (07:00 - 19:00). Candidates may choose one holiday either Thanksgiving or Christmas but cannot have both. Every other weekend is required.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced stepdown or PCU nurses with cardiac drip experience to manage and titrate medications as part of our dedicated team. The position may require floating between units if overstaffed.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients in a stepdown unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in health status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license (compact license required).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a stepdown or PCU setting.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and management of cardiac drips.
