PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00). Weekends required every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PCU/Stepdown Registered Nurse with experience in managing and titrating cardiac drips. This role involves floating between units if overstaffed. Candidates must be prepared to work every other weekend and can choose one holiday to work during the contract.

Responsibilities

• Titrate and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Provide care to patients in a stepdown/PCU setting, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Float to Telemetry or Med-Surg floors when necessary.
• Participate in all required trainings and orientations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of stepdown or PCU nursing experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Compact RN license must be in hand at submission.
