Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in an orthopedic and spine unit, with the ability to manage medical overflow. The RN will engage in patient assessments, care plans, and implementation of effective treatment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to orthopedic and spine patients
• Monitor patient's progress and manage pain relief protocols
• Perform assessments and interventions, including IV management and wound care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Float to like units as needed based on facility requirements

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Experience in orthopedic nursing strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required; NIHSS certification preferred
• Valid RN license in Oklahoma or Compact state required
• Experience with EPIC documentation system is mandatory
