Registered Nurse - Night Shift (36 Hours) - Med/Surg Unit

Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15 (3x12-Hour shifts).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg unit for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes. The unit has a total of 24 beds and maintains a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5 to 6.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care to adults and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg setting.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and implement care plans as necessary.
• Utilize EPIC documentation system for patient care records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support services including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy.
• Participate in rapid response and code team situations as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Oklahoma or Compact RN license.
• At least 2 years of recent charge nurse experience within a Med/Surg unit.
• Experience with patient ratios of 5-6:1 during night shifts.
• BLS certification required.
• Must have experience with the EPIC documentation system.
