Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM with rotating off-days and weekends.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing exceptional care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of patient safety and comfort. The role involves working collaboratively with a skilled team to deliver high-quality cardiac care.

Responsibilities

• Performing and assisting with various procedures in the Cath/EP Lab, including Left Heart Catheterizations, PCIs, Pacemaker and ICD Implants, TEE, Cardioversion, Loop Recorders, EP Studies, and Ablations.
• Monitoring patients during procedures, ensuring immediate response to any changes in condition.
• Collaborating with team members to maintain a calm and efficient work environment while managing patient care.
• Preparing and maintaining equipment and work environment to ensure safety and efficacy.
• Participating in patient education and providing compassionate care throughout the procedural process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license with the ability to practice in Texas.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience as a scrub nurse and proficiency in monitoring during procedures.
• Preferred: EP scrub and monitor experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-centric environment.
