Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The ideal candidate will have ICU level of care experience and will be responsible for caring for critically ill pediatric patients. You will be part of a healthcare team that admits patients with a variety of conditions including neurological, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and cardiac issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize advanced equipment and technologies, including vents, drips, and central lines.
• Perform procedures such as central line placements, chest tube insertions, sedation, LP, and intubation.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• PALS certification required.
• Experience with intubation, vents, and ICU level of care patients.
• Preferred: ECMO and CRRT experience.
