Travel Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with every other weekend and holiday requirements. Schedule may vary based on unit needs.

Job Description

As a Travel Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will coordinate all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices and collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. You will also administer medication using bedside scanning.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Tele departments.
• Monitor patients with remote telemetry systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for comprehensive patient care.
• Implement nursing interventions and assess patient responses.
• Ensure compliance with clinical nursing practices and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience in an acute care setting required.
• Recent Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Completion of 2 or more travel assignments preferred.
