Schedule

Shifts are scheduled as Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) or Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) with potential rotation as needed.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in a hospital setting. The role includes responsibilities for patient assessment, implementing care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. There is also the potential to float to various units to support patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient care activities accurately
• Participate in continuous education and competency assessments

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation
