Schedule

This position requires a rotating schedule: Night shifts (3x12-Hour, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and Day shifts (3x12-Hour, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM). Shifts may be variable as needed to meet operational demands.

Job Description

The Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care on various units, including potential floating to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department. The nurse is responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data.
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare teams for patient care planning.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 12 months of permanent experience in a medical/surgical telemetry setting.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission.
