Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of patients who have experienced severe injuries or illnesses. The facility focuses on providing specialized rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs such as stroke recovery, brain injury, spinal cord injury, trauma, and orthopedic injuries.

Schedule

Shift: Days, 40 hours per week with 1 weekend per month required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans.
• Conducting therapy sessions and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment approaches as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Montana state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Experience with diagnosing and treating patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions.
