Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in a busy acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a current Washington State license and must be prepared to float between units as needed. The RRT will participate in rapid response and code situations, along with the provision of efficient floor care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care services in a variety of settings, including emergency and critical care.
• Participate in rapid response and code blue teams.
• Manage aerosol delivery systems and perform tracheostomy care.
• Interpret arterial blood gases and adjust therapy accordingly.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory health.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Current Washington State RRT license required.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS preferred.
• Experience in trauma care, especially Level I or II trauma centers, is a plus.
