Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level IV NICU experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ready to assist in both Adult floors and ICU alongside the NICU. This position requires exceptional clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to adapt to diverse patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care for patients in the Level IV NICU, Adult floors, and ICU.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment options.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures and techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU environment.
• Current RRT certification and Washington State Respiratory License.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Experience with NAVA, high frequency oscillators, or high frequency jet ventilation preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is required.
